The Kindergarten students in Room One have made a movie. During their discovery of Barbara Reid books, one student suggested making a movie with the animals they created out of plasticine. We spoke about what the movie would be about and then went looking for the perfect director! Mrs.Weber was up to the task as she is a veteran film director. She brought in her camera, expertise and an assistant who had the tripod and backdrop. The students were able to go through the movie making process. They took a still picture of their character and then moved their animal ever so slightly to create a new image and took the picture again. What started as a six person movie quickly developed into a full class action flick! You will be at the edge of your seat wondering if the animals can safely bring the missing jewel back to its rightful owner. Special thanks to Mrs.Weber for filming and editing this production and for the students in Room One who are so creative!
