The Terry Fox School Day Run for NLW school will be held on Thursday, September 27th.   The students in Grade 1, 2 and 2/3 will be walking around the junior field and the students in Grade 3 and up will be running off school property as we have done in the past.  (If you haven’t sent back a permission form for your grade 3 and up child(ren) it is available here.)

A  letter about the event  was sent home earlier this week.   We are asking the students to bring a toonie for Terry on this day as we work to contribute to the effort to find a cure.  After the run, apples from Martin’s Apple Fruit Farm will be given to each student.    Students are asked to wear red and white to show school spirit and Canadian pride.  After a brief assembly in the gym, we will begin our running or walking together.    Our rain date for this event will be Friday, September 28th.
