Feb. 12 was Crossing Guard Appreciation Day across the Region.   Members of school council took time to share our appreciation to our two Crossing Guards, Gary and Lois.

We, at NLW, wanted to say THANK YOU for all you do, today especially on this CROSSING GUARD APPRECIATION DAY!   Your kind spirit and consistent presence lights up our school corner(s) giving a warm peace of mind to staff, parents and students.  Not only today, but every school day you offer safety and a smile that bookends our days.

Thank you for being such a dedicated and vital part in our community.

Share a smile or a wave the next time you pass our Crossing Guards.   Thanks to our students who do that every time they cross.
