November 12th, 2014
At the 11th hour, on the 11th, day of the 11th month, students from all classes came together to participate in a ceremony of remembrance. At our Remembrance Day assembly, students had an oppotunity to reflect on the sacrifices of the past, the efforts of the present and the hope for the future. Each class created a wreath that was placed at the front, and that are now on display in our front hall, in honour of fallen soldiers and peacekeepers.
Four students from Room 10 and 12 did a choral reading of In Flanders Fields
The Primary Choir performed a song of peace – I’ve Got Peace Like A River
The Junior Choir performed a song of hope – The Strangest Dream
Students shared their thoughts in poems and in class wreaths they made.
