Room 4 celebrated International Dot Day (Sept 15) and we had lots of fun making our own dots using paint and a salad spinner! We have been talking about how everyone can make their mark, you just have to try. Anyone can be an artist and exercise their personal creativity. These are the lessons taught in the book “The Dot” by Peter H. Reynolds, which we read together. We squirted primary colours onto a paper plate, then spun it around in the salad spinner. The colours spread and mixed, prompting lots of observations and wonderings about new colours that appeared.   iPhone Image 298E85
