In response to the global refugee crisis, we will be launching a campaign called “Howl with Your Hearts.”  For 12 days in February we will be collecting donations to assist refugees living in refugee camps in Syria, Iraq and other countries.

At Northlake Woods, we will be collecting items that are desperately needed by these refugees. We will deliver these items to the Mennonite Central Committee in Waterloo where they will be sorted and assembled into “kits.”  These kits will then be shipped to the refugee camps.

This Wednesday, Feb. 3^rd., we will have a brief assembly for students explaining the “Howl with Your Hearts” campaign and on Thursday we will begin collecting donations.

Our campaign will run February 4 to February 19.  During those 12 school days we will be collecting items that are specified on the other side.
