On Thursday September 26 at 9:00 a.m., the staff and students of Northlake Woods will be participating in the Terry Fox National School Run Day. We hope that if you are able, you will come and join us on the walk/run or cheer us on as we complete the walk/run in honour of Terry Fox and all the people who are living with Cancer or who have lost the fight. We are asking each student to please bring in a Toonie for Terry and the Canadian Cancer Society any day during the week prior to our run (Thursday September 19 to Thursday September 26). There will be containers in the classrooms for the collection of the money. On the day of our walk/run we will also be having a red and white spirit day. We encourage all our Northlake Woods students to wear these colours and show some spirit! Thank you for your support of this important event.
