Students in grade 8 are completing their Roller Coaster Science projects at Canada’s Wonderland Roller Coaster Competition today.   Three of our teams have received awards for their coaster designs.  There was a 1st and 2nd Place finish for the Artistic Design category and a 2nd Place earned in the Technical Merit category.   The students are enjoying a day in this great weather,  seeing how the ideas they have worked on in class,  and the problem solving strategies they used in their designs,  play out in the real world of amusement parks.   Congratulations for the efforts all of the students have made on this project.  (The photo here is one of the Coasters that was entered into the competition today.)
