Once again this year, the Tim Horton’s store at 1000 Victoria Rd. (Victoria and River, by the Canadian Tire) is decorated with art from Northlake Woods Room 8 students.
If you have a moment and you are in the area, stop by for a quick hot chocolate and to admire the artwork that has been created by our very own students in Room 8.
This year was especially exciting because the students had shown an interest in Tim Horton’s earlier this fall. In the school gym they would “drive” their bikes through the made up drive-thru. That interest spun into a Tim Horton’s drama centre which our students loved … (so did our custodian who would enjoy never having to wait in our line for a “hot” cup of coffee). Then our students got the change to go to Tim Horton’s to see their own artwork on display. They capped off the visit with the opportunity to dunk and sprinkle their own donut …. what a great way to share smiles and holiday artwork in our community.
Pictured here is some of the artwork on display at the Tim Horton’s.
